…is a play on words just like playing on the Metro Bus has its ups and downs. Downtown, that song from White Oleander will be playing or, more like, should be playing between intermission periods. In the coming night a reading will take place bringing to the Union Station’s very own Traxx Bar, a plethora of feels. Come refresh after a day’s hard labor, have a drink, and relax as you take a linger/listen to tonight’s tunes, of course without the instrumentation and Beyonce backup vocals.
Come listen to a night of storytelling, poet’s spewing poetry, anecdotes (written or made on the spot), and laughs. There is something for everyone to share about the experience of (surviving) riding the Metro. If you bike, power to you, power to you mang. If you live in the area, woah, step back, step back. Step back and forth and never stop, cuz that nasty don’t stop for nobody.
How are you getting to Union Station that evening?
Joining us for the evening is the lovely and talented writing group the WOMEN group reading selections of their commute trips. They meet up every 3rd Tuesday of each month at the LAFort. Please check their respected FB/links.
