Writ Large Press

Writ Large Press was launched in 2008 by us, Judeth Oden and Chiwan Choi, with the publication of Kim Calder’s collection of poetry, Who’s to Say What’s Home.

It was the perfect way for us to begin our mission–to publish the very best writers of Los Angeles.

We have since released a second title, the playwright Aaron Henne’s writing handbook, You Already Know: A Playwright’s Guide to Trusting Yourself.

Writ Large Press has much more in the works with incredible writers who call Los Angeles home.

There is so much creative life hidden in this city by the overbearing shadow of the Hollywood sign. Our plan is to help bring as much as we can out into the spotlight.
